Childcare and education.

A parent choosing care wants to see the place, the people and the day before picking up the phone. Here is what we would build for a home childcare, a center, a preschool or a tutoring program.

From your side

What a childcare program needs from its website.

  • Parents have to trust us before they visit

They are choosing who looks after their child. The site has to show who we are, where the children spend the day and what a normal day holds, in our own words and photos.

  • Asking for a tour should take a minute

Families want to see the place first. A short form or a tap to call should be one step away on every screen, and the request should reach us right away.

  • The basics have to be right

Ages, hours, location and how to reach us, found in seconds on a phone. When openings change, the site should say so.

  • We do not have time to run a website

Our day is spent with children. The site has to work without attention, and a small change should be a quick message, not a project.

The example

A real site, live today.

Client

Wilson's Childcare

We designed and built the website for this in home childcare. It opens on a cheerful yellow home page built around buttons for scheduling a tour, then introduces the caregiver, the age groups and the daily activities before ending on a tour request form.

  • A schedule a tour button in the header and at the top of the home page
  • A colored card for each age group, from infants to school age
  • A daily activities section laid out as a grid of pastel cards
  • A tour request form, with a call or text option beside it

Process

How a project runs.

  1. Talk it through

A short call about how your childcare program runs and what the site has to do.

  2. Written scope

Pages, features and the price in writing before any work begins.

  3. Design and build

You review real pages, not just mockups, and send feedback in rounds.

  4. Launch and handoff

Domain connected, files delivered, accounts in your name. Care is optional.

Questions

Before you ask.

Have you built a childcare website before?

Yes, one. Wilson's Childcare is a client site we designed and built, and it is the example on this page. You can visit it and judge the work for yourself.

What does a childcare website cost?

Our website packages have published prices. Business Starter is $500 for one scrolling page, which can suit a home childcare, and Business Website is $700 for up to five pages, with room for programs, staff and enrollment. Anything beyond a package is written into the scope with its price before work begins. See pricing

Can parents request a tour through the site?

Yes. Every website package includes one standard working inquiry form, and it can be a tour request. If you already use a booking calendar, one standard setup or embed is included with Business Website and is $150 with the other packages.

Can the site handle enrollment forms or tuition payments?

Parent logins, enrollment packets and tuition payments are larger pieces of work. We have not delivered these for a client yet, so they are scoped and quoted after a call. We keep website forms to contact details and do not collect medical or other sensitive records through them.

We do not have text or photos ready. Can you help?

Yes. We can write your pages from the facts you give us, at $100 per page. Photos of your own space and your own people work best, and we will tell you which ones the site needs.

Who owns the website when it is finished?

You do. You own your domain, and after full payment you receive the agreed custom code and deliverables, subject to any third party licenses. Care is optional and never changes ownership.

Tell us about your childcare program.

We will reply with a clear next step and a written scope.
