Fitness and wellness.

Someone thinking about joining wants three answers fast: when the classes are, what it costs and how to try one. Here is what we would build for a gym, a yoga or Pilates studio, a personal trainer or a wellness practice.

From your side

What a gym or studio needs from its website.

Written the way an owner would say it, between the morning classes and the evening ones.

  • The schedule is the page people come for

Members check it on a phone on the way out the door. It has to load fast, read clearly by day and time, and be right this week, including the class we moved and the holiday we are closed.

  • A first visit should be easy to say yes to

A free trial, an intro offer or a first class has to be one tap from every screen, with a short form and no account to create before anyone has even met us.

  • Memberships should make sense at a glance

Drop in, class pack, monthly, personal training. People want the options side by side in plain words, with what each one includes, before they talk to anyone.

  • People join because of the people

A new member is nervous about walking in. Photos of our real space and a page for each instructor, with what they teach and how they teach it, do more than any slogan.

The example

A look and feel reference, clearly labeled.

Concept

FORM

We have not built a site for a gym or a studio yet. The closest thing we can show is FORM, a concept shop for activewear. It sells clothing, not classes, so take it as a reference for the look only: the energy, the type and the photography a fitness brand could carry.

FORM is an invented business. We designed and built it to show how we would approach a site in this field. It is not a client.

  • Black, white and a single lime accent
  • Heavy capital headlines over full width photography
  • A product grid and a size picker, since it is a shop
  • No class schedule, memberships or instructor pages, which a gym site would need

Process

How a project runs.

  1. Talk it through

A short call about how your gym or studio runs and what the site has to do.

  2. Written scope

Pages, features and the price in writing before any work begins.

  3. Design and build

You review real pages, not just mockups, and send feedback in rounds.

  4. Launch and handoff

Domain connected, files delivered, accounts in your name. Care is optional.

Questions

Before you ask.

Have you built a gym or studio website before?

No, not yet. The example on this page is FORM, a concept shop for activewear that we invented, and it is there for the look only. The websites we have built for clients are on the work page, so you can judge the quality for yourself.

Can members book classes on the site?

If you already use a class booking or membership system, we embed it or link to it so booking happens inside your own account. One standard setup or embed is included with Business Website and is $150 with the other packages. A custom booking engine is a larger piece of work that we have not delivered for a client, so it is scoped and quoted after a call.

How does the class schedule stay current?

There are two honest ways. If your booking system publishes a schedule, we show that one, and it changes when you change it there. If the schedule is written into the site, changes are small edits: send them to us, or have them handled under a care plan. We will tell you which fits before work begins.

Can people buy a membership or a class pack online?

Yes, through a payment or membership provider in an account you own, so the money and the member list are yours. We do not build our own billing, and we do not store card details on the site. The setup depends on the provider you choose, so it is written into the scope with its price.

What does a site like this cost?

Our website packages have published prices. Business Starter is $500 for one scrolling page, and Business Website is $700 for up to five pages, which suits a home page, schedule, memberships, instructors and contact. Anything beyond a package is written into the scope with its price before work begins. See pricing

Do we need professional photos?

It helps, but it is not required. Photos of your own floor, your own classes and your own instructors work far better than stock pictures of strangers. We will give you a short list of the shots the site needs, and we size and prepare whatever you send.

Should the site ask about injuries or health history?

We keep website forms to contact details and the class or offer someone is interested in. Health questions and waivers belong in the system you already use for members, or on paper at the front desk, not in a website form.

Tell us about your gym or studio.

We will reply with a clear next step and a written scope.
