A line to people who asked
Subscribers chose to hear from you. A newsletter reaches them directly, without depending on what a social feed decides to show.
Services ยท Growth and care
New serviceA signup form on your website, connected to a newsletter provider in your name, with a template that looks like your brand and a first email sent together. After that the list and the tool are yours to use. Writing the newsletter each month is not part of this.
The short version
What you get
The setup is the fiddly part of starting a newsletter. We do it once, in your account, and hand you something you can reuse without us.
A short form in your site's own design, placed where it makes sense, with a plain line that says what subscribers will receive.
The form feeds one standard newsletter provider, in an account opened in your name. New subscribers land in your list without anyone copying addresses by hand.
One reusable email layout with your logo, colors and type, a clear place for a headline, a photo and a button, and a footer with your business details.
We load the text and images you supply into the template, send a test to you, and send the first newsletter with you once you approve it.
Every email carries a working unsubscribe link and your business address, handled by the provider, so people can leave as easily as they joined.
A short plain guide to copying the template, writing the next email and scheduling it, so the second send does not need us.
How it works
Nothing is set up until the scope and the price are agreed in writing.
We talk through who the newsletter is for, what you plan to send, and which provider and plan fit that. You see the provider's own charges before agreeing to anything.
The provider account is created in your name with your billing, or we set it up alongside you. You grant us access that you can remove later.
We build the signup form on your site, connect it, design the template and send test emails to you until both look right.
You supply the words and pictures for the first newsletter, approve the test, and it goes out. Then you get the notes and the template to reuse.
Pricing
Published prices
A signup form on your site connected to one standard provider in your account.
$100
Optional. Laying out or sending a later issue for you, with an estimate agreed first.
$75per hour
The branded template and the first send have no published price. We have not yet delivered them for a client, so they are scoped and quoted after a call, in writing, before any work. The signup price is a one time price for our work. It does not include what the newsletter provider charges you, and it assumes a website we can edit. Applicable taxes are additional.
Why it matters
Subscribers chose to hear from you. A newsletter reaches them directly, without depending on what a social feed decides to show.
The addresses sit in your account. You can export them, change providers or change who helps you.
The template carries the same logo, colors and type as your website, so every send is recognizably yours.
With the form, the template and the notes in place, the next newsletter is a matter of writing it.
$100 covers a signup form on your website connected to one standard newsletter provider in your account. The branded template and the first send, with the words and pictures supplied by you, are scoped and quoted after a call, and you get that price in writing before any work. The provider's own charges are separate and are billed to you directly. See full pricing
Not yet. Newsletter setup is a new service for us, so this page shows no examples and makes no claims about results. What we can give you is the scope and the price, both in writing before any work.
We recommend one standard provider on the call, based on what you plan to send and how large the list is likely to be, and we tell you its current plan and charges first. If you already use a provider, we look at whether the form can connect to it.
Your logo and brand colors if we do not already have them, the text and photos for the first newsletter, a postal address for the footer, which mail rules require, and a provider account in your name, which we can open together.
That is not part of the setup. The template is built so you can write and send your own. If you want help, laying out and sending an issue for you is hourly work at $75 per hour with an estimate agreed first.
If those people agreed to receive email from you, yes, a simple import of one list is part of getting you to the first send. We will ask how the addresses were collected. We do not import bought or scraped lists, and a large or messy list is quoted separately.
Nobody can promise an inbox. It helps to send from an address at your own domain, with the domain records that prove the email is really from you, and to send only to people who signed up. See business email and domains
Often, yes, but it depends on the site and on the access you can give us. We look at it on the call. If the form cannot be built into the site, the provider's own hosted signup page is a fallback, and we say which one you are getting before you agree.
Tell us what you want to send and who it is for. We will recommend a provider, confirm the price in writing and set it up in your account.
