The money goes to you
Sales land in a payment account in your name. We are never in the middle of a transaction and we take no share of it.
Services ยท Websites
New serviceWe design the shop front, set up your products and connect a hosted checkout in an account that belongs to you, such as Stripe or Shopify. The money goes from your customer to your account. We never build a payment system of our own and card details never touch your website.
The short version
What you get
For a business with a few products to sell from its site, or a shop that needs a full catalog with stock and shipping. Here is what the build covers.
A handful of products can sell through payment links on a custom site. A larger catalog with stock, variants and shipping belongs on a store platform such as Shopify. We recommend one and explain why.
A home page, category and product pages in your brand, laid out so a customer on a phone can find a product, see the price and buy without hunting.
We enter an agreed number of products with your photos, descriptions, prices and options, and show you how to add the rest yourself.
We connect the provider's hosted checkout and test an order from cart to receipt. You enter your own bank and identity details; we never ask for them.
We configure the delivery options, pickup details and tax settings you give us inside the platform. The rates and rules themselves are your decision.
Returns, shipping and contact pages laid out from the policies you supply, plus order emails in your name through the platform's own tools.
Concept
An illustration, not client work
What a product grid can look like.
FORM is a concept: an invented activewear shop we designed and built to show our range. It is not a client, the products do not exist and nothing on it can be bought. We have not yet delivered a store for a client, so this is an illustration of the design, not proof of sales.
See the concept siteHow it works
Nothing starts until the scope and the price are agreed in writing.
How many products, whether they ship or are picked up, how you take payment today and who will run the store day to day. From that we recommend payment links or a store platform.
The platform, the pages, the number of products we enter, what you supply and the price, in writing. You open the provider account in your name and grant us access you can remove.
We build the shop front, load the agreed products and connect checkout. You review on a private link and place test orders yourself before anything is public.
The store goes live on your domain. We walk you through adding a product, changing a price, handling an order and issuing a refund, and leave written notes.
Pricing
An online store is custom work, so there is no package price to print. The quote follows a conversation about what you sell.
How the price is set
The price depends on the platform we agree on, the number of products and options to set up, how many designed pages the shop front needs, how shipping, pickup and tax have to be configured, and whether the store joins a site you already have. The written scope lists each of those, names the provider and its current plan, states what you supply and gives one price for our work. If a few payment links on a simple site will do the job, we say so, even though it is the smaller project. Nothing is built before you agree to it.
Our price covers design and setup. The store platform and the payment provider charge you directly, and those charges are not part of our quote.
Why it matters
Sales land in a payment account in your name. We are never in the middle of a transaction and we take no share of it.
The provider collects and protects payment details on its own pages, so your website never handles them.
Adding a product or changing a price is done in the platform's own dashboard, without calling a developer.
Because the account and the catalog are yours, you can add products, change who manages the store or move on without starting over.
Not yet. We build custom websites for clients, and FORM and Aurelle on our work page are concept shops for invented businesses. Online stores are a new service on our list, so we show no client examples and make no claims about sales or results.
It depends on what you sell. For a small number of products, payment links from a provider such as Stripe on a custom site keep costs and upkeep low. For a larger catalog with stock, variants, shipping and discounts, a store platform such as Shopify does that work properly. We recommend one on the call and put the reason in the scope.
It is scoped and quoted after a call, because a shop with five products and a shop with five hundred are different projects. The written quote gives one price for our work and names the provider charges you will pay separately. Describe your store
Store platforms usually charge a monthly subscription, and payment providers charge a fee on each sale. Both bill you directly and both change their rates from time to time, so we send you to their current pricing pages before you decide instead of quoting their numbers for them.
Product photos you have the right to use, names, descriptions, prices and options, your shipping or pickup arrangements, your returns policy, and your logo and colors. You also open the provider account and complete its identity and bank checks yourself, since those must be in the owner's name.
Often, yes. Payment links or a buy button can be added to an existing site, and a store platform can sit at its own address on your domain. We review how the current site is built before quoting, because that decides which route is sensible.
You do. We set the store up and show you how each of those works in the dashboard, with written notes. We do not pack, ship, answer customers or issue refunds on your behalf.
We switch on and configure the tax settings in the platform using the information you or your accountant provide. We are not tax advisers, so which taxes apply to your business is a question for a professional.
Site monitoring and small changes can be covered by a care plan, and larger changes are billed at $75 per hour with an estimate agreed first. Running the store itself stays with you. See website care
Tell us the products, how many there are and how they reach the customer. We will recommend a platform and put the price in writing.
